Saddle Stirrups, Likely from the Persian or Ottoman Empire

These very interesting pieces of history date from some time during the Persian Safavid or Ottoman Empire time period. They retain much ofA the original decoration. They appear to have been forged as "of set" meaning they were created on an angle that would help keep the riders foot properly positioned in the saddle. apros

Each stirrup stands aprox 5 1/4 inches tall from the foot plate to the top of the piece. They are aprox 5 1/4 inches wide at the widest point and the foot plate is 2 1/2 inches wide.

These are very solid pieces and would display wonderfully.
